New College Worcester courses

NCW is a national residential school and college for young people aged 11 to 19 who are blind or partially sighted. Every student at NCW has a tailored programme, carefully planned & delivered to meet their individual needs in three key areas; academic achievement, independent living skills and involvement in extracurricular activities at the College and in the community. The College also runs a range of outreach courses for professionals/parents and events for young people and their families.

New College Worcester is offering Year 5 & 6 pupils who are blind or vision impaired the opportunity to enjoy their first sleepover in a safe, secure and supportive environment at an event 'My First Sleepover@NCW' on 17th and 18th January. 'Preparing for Adulthood' intensive course at New College Worcester

For blind and vision impaired young people aged 11 to 19. The courses are intended to build the confidence, skills, and knowledge needed to navigate life after school. Whether that is the next step in education, the world of work or preparing for living independently, this course will provide expert training, techniques and clever tips to help navigate the adult world. It will focus on three key areas: independent living skills, mobility/orientation and access technology. There is a charge of £500 per child.
