NCW is a national residential school and college for young people aged 11 to 19 who are blind or partially sighted. Every student at NCW has a tailored programme, carefully planned & delivered to meet their individual needs in three key areas; academic achievement, independent living skills and involvement in extracurricular activities at the College and in the community. The College also runs a range of outreach courses for professionals/parents and events for young people and their families.Vika's Shine Squad

‘Preparing for University’ course (Worcester)
A 5-day residential course for young adults who are blind or vision impaired preparing to live away from home for the first time. The course takes place from Monday 29th June to Friday 3rd July. Professionals Workshop Day (Worcester)
An opportunity for professionals working with vision impaired learners to attend a range of workshops on various aspects of education. These include maths, physical education and Braille. There is a charge for attendees (with an ‘Early Bird offer until 6th June), but parents or carers of a vi child can attend one of the charged NCW outreach courses for free each school year. Summer Break at New College Worcester - 21st to 23rd July. New College Worcester is running a three day, residential Summer Break for children and young people aged 11–16 years with sight loss in July. There will be opportunities to try a range of activities during the day, and enjoy social and creative activities in the evening. There is a charge for attendance, and day-only options are available.
