LOOK holiday flat
LOOK owns a holiday flat in Scarborough on the Yorkshire coast. The flat is accessible with two bedrooms, one double (with space for a cot), and one with bunk beds plus an extra single bed. The LOOK flat provides an opportunity for every family with a visually impaired child to enjoy a seaside break and can be booked for both long and short breaks at very reasonable rates.LOOK mentoring service
A free mentoring service for young people with vision impairment. Offers support on topics such as school and college; gap year ideas; career and life plans; socialising and confidence; independent living. Mentors are vision impaired themselves.LOOK Parent Support Group
An online Parent Support Group for the families and carers of children and young people with sight loss. The group meets monthly, on Thursdays, at 6.30pm – 9:00pm.Resources for School, College and University

LOOK at Jamie's Farm (Hereford)
LOOK is inviting vision impaired young people aged 13 to 17 to join them for a week of adventures at Jamie's Farm in Hereford from 27th - 31st July 2026. It is an opportunity to learn new skills, care for animals, cook, explore, and make new friends. There is lots of information about the event, including the tasks you will be doing, outline daily schedule and a video showing highlights of the 2025 event on LOOK's website. There is a charge of £200 for attendees. A free course for parents and carers of visually impaired children and young people in the UK. This course gives you time to focus on yourself, meet other parents, and learn simple ways to support your own wellbeing.
The course consists of 12 weekly sessions and is held via Zoom. Although there is no fee for the course, parents are asked to commit to attending all of the sessions. There's a lot more information on the course, including a short video and how to apply on the LOOK website via the link below.
