The Pathfinder Project

Pathfinder is a partnership initiative providing practical support to enable people with sensory, physical and cognitive impairments to travel independently. The project has proved successful with pupils and students travelling to and from their place of study. Pathfinder has enabled adult participants to access local amenities and pursue employment opportunities.

PrioritEyes Rehabilitation Service

We have highly experienced, qualified Rehabilitation Officers available for contract work across the UK. We are the main independent service provider in the field of rehabilitation for people who have experienced sight loss. We employ a team of committed, enthusiastic and professional Rehabilitation Officers. We deliver services to Local Authorities and to the Private and Third Sectors. We support Local Authority departments to reduce waiting lists and to respond to urgent cases. Work can be carried out on both long and short term contracts and also by spot purchasing individual pieces of work/output-based contracts. Contracts are designed to meet each customer’s specific requirements.

PrioritEyes IT Assessments

Providing specialist information technology assessments to adults and students with a vision impairment.

Access Consultation

We can provide support around accommodating the needs of vision impaired people as required by the Equalities Act 2010. Many of our recommendations can be introduced at little or no cost, and can benefit a wide range of your customers and service-users as well as those with low vision. Our team can conduct an audit and provide advice about best practice including signage, colour contrast, tactile markings, lighting, aids and adaptations.
