Behçet’s UK Online Support Group for spouses and partners - (Behcet's UK)

An online Support Group for the spouses and partners of people living with the condition. Often, one of the greatest effects of the diagnosis of a long-term chronic illness like Behçet’s is on the spouses or partner, and this group is a chance to share their thoughts and connect with others in similar situations who understand what they’re going through.

Blackwood VI Club - (Sight Cymru)

A social group that meets locally and enjoy talks, activities, speakers, outings, refreshments and other entertainment. The group meets on alternate Mondays between 11.30 – 12.30pm. Contact Alice Benham for further information on 01495 763650.

Macular Society Counselling Service - (Macular Society)

The Macular Society has a team of qualified counsellors who have extensive experience either personally or professionally within the field of sight loss. This is a telephone service for anyone who has been diagnosed with macular disease. They also offer the same service to that person’s family members, in the UK or internationally. They are bound by the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling, and fully compliant with the Data Protection Act.

Men's Time to Talk group (Conwy) - (Abergavenny Vision Impaired Support Group)

A relaxed, supportive and confidential space for men living with sight loss to connect and share experiences with others who understand. The group is informal and friendly, with transport available if required. Booking is essential. Neath Tea and Chat Social Group - (Sight Life)

NWSB Colwyn Bay Club - (North Wales Society of the Blind)

The group get together in a relaxed atmosphere every 2nd and 4th Monday in the month. Refreshments are available. Guest speakers attend the club to deliver interesting talks and local musicians provide entertainment. When the weather is good we venture out on organised day trips. The club is the perfect opportunity for people with sight loss to come together to socialize and make new friends. Transport and lunch may be arranged for you if required. Sense Active Programme - (Sense)

We have a host of resources that will help sports practitioners, coaches, teachers and support staff provide sensory experiences for people who are deafblind or disabled. We also support the sports and social care sectors through consultation and training. Our tools, training and resources can help you ensure your sports programmes are more inclusive and accessible.

Sisterhood - (Royal Society for Blind Children)

Sisterhood is a fantastic online group for young women aged 11 –25 to come together and discuss issues that are important to them. It’s a chance to discuss anything from mental health and wellbeing to hair care and make up. It’s a lovely supportive group that meets Tuesdays fortnightly online.

Step On Up online group - (Royal Society for Blind Children)

For young people with vision impairment in Year 11 who are starting to think about life after Year 11, or who maybe little worried about the upcoming exam season. This online space is a chance for young people to chat with other young people going through the same experience and get practical tips and advice from RSBC's friendly Family Practitioners. You will explore different pathways for the future and prepare for exams together. Sessions will take place after school at 5pm, every other Wednesday (fortnightly).
